This past weekend I picked him up and took him over to my mom and dad's (his daughter's) to eat lunch and watch baseball with my husband.

My grandfather, an avid White Sox fan has never been to see a game. No, don't mean he has never seen the new field, I mean he has NEVER been to a White Sox game.

It is my goal to get him there this year.

In case you hadn't heard the Chicago White Sox won the World Series last year, so trying to find tickets for my grandfather, my husband and me (in lower level seating - Grandpa doesn't get around really well) is next to impossible.

So if you know of anyone that has weekend tickets they are looking to sell send them my way!

Dratz! I have no ticket connections, but if you get that happy, spry, good lookin' son of a gun to a game, the beer & weiners are on me.

Is he adopting extra granddaughters? Where can I apply?

Me too, I'm empty of ticket getting abilities. I used to be able to get Kc Cheifs tickets and Royals tickets, but then my uncle retired and all that went to heck in a hand basket. (What the heck does that mean?)

Good luck though, xx, Lori

He is one handsome man! I'll keep an ear out in case ticket options come up. We could get him to an Indians game, no problem. Not the same?
